Most of the time you will be dealing with small code samples and
snippets of the type you will find in the class references.
However some tasks are more involved and varied and involve
larger code bases. These are available as complete example
projects.
To obtain these projects you will need to run the full ABCpdf
MSI installer which you can download from our site. After
installation look for the ABCpdf menu item under the Windows Start
menu. One of the items under the ABCpdf menu item is a folder
called Examples.
Alternatively you can download a zip of the complete set from
GitHub.
These projects are referenced in a variety of locations within
this documentation. Each project is described in full on its own
page within this section.
The projects cover a wide range of tasks. These include viewing
and printing PDF documents, watermarking, page manipulation and
redaction, tables and invoices, accessible and tagged PDF, layers,
form fields, annotations and digital signatures.
Others show how to analyze colors and fonts, validate documents,
draw using low level PDF operators, view 3D models and take a PDF
snapshot of a web page.
We provide project code in the documentation so you can search
for it easily and find potential matches. However for use, you
should get the complete project which will include inputs outputs
and project files.
